*This item Does NOT fit on Dutch lap Dutch Lap style siding (Dutch lap siding has a flat front that proceeds into an angled top that slants backwards towards the house. ) For Dutchlap Dutch Lap vinyl siding please contact me for custom order as every Dutchlap siding panel is different and these have to be made to fit your siding dimensions. If you are not sure send me a picture of your siding.

Description of Item: This is the Cedar siding, cement board siding, Aluminum siding and Vinyl siding version for standard lap siding panels. If you have a hard siding that has a flat front that is metal or made of wood choose the board/metal mount as it will be flat to match your flat front siding and a smaller projection to match wood and metals smaller (thickness).. If you have a flexible standard vinyl siding choose the Vinyl version (if available) it will have a slight curve to match the curve in the vinyl and have a larger projection (thickness) to match vinyl siding. If you have dutch lap vinyl siding you must contact me. Colored shim to fix the angled doorbell problem where your doorbell when screwed to vinyl or slanted siding this will make the doorbell face straight ahead instead of slanted upwards.

Siding Options Explained:

3" vinyl Siding This is a specialty Vinyl siding. Not as common as the 4 inch or 4 1/2 inches siding. This item is for Panels that measure exactly 3 inches each and have 1/2 projection. if larger than 3" but less than 4" contact me about custom orders.

4" vinyl Siding (common) This is for Vinyl siding, Hardi board, Cement board, Cedar, Aluminum or any flat but slanted front siding. This item is for Panels and measure exactly 4" and have 1/2 projection.

4.5" vinyl Siding Option (common) This is for Vinyl siding, Hardi board, Cement board, Cedar, Aluminum or any flat but slanted front siding. This item is for Panels that measure 4.5inches and have 1/2 projection

5+" All Siding Flat WEDGE Option (Not common)This is the item you want if one or more of the following applies:Your siding slope is like a board and completely Flat and not concave. Your siding is more the 5" long and you are not mounting at the bottom of a panel. This has no standoff leg and is similar to the wedge that comes with the ring 2 but is angled 7degrees instead of 5degrees and is solid so no water or bugs can get behind it and gives you a much stronger mounting surface. If have a large siding panel this allows you to mount doorbell anywhere on the panel. It still has the Siding angle built in so doorbell faces straight ahead. If you have flat siding (brick, stucco, etc) and want to angle your doorbell up or down 7degrees (This particular item is shown in the last picture)

This is for standard Vinyl siding only. It has the famous leg and curve that the 4" version has but now for 5" siding! This version has a leg that locates the mount at the bottom of the siding and still has a curve to match the curve in vinyl siding.  This item is for Panels that measure 5inches and have 1/2 projection. This version will work on panels larger than 5" but the mount, due to the stability "leg" at the bottom, has to be positioned on the lower 5" section of the siding.

Printed in a material called PETG. This material resists UV LIGHT and resists all sorts of chemicals. Recyclable. And most importantly resists cold temperatures as well as up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
